The suite was roomy and very tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessities of home. I loved the view from the balcony. I also loved the washer and dryer and the ice maker!

It is very windy and 3 days of our stay the resort area was uninhabitable. We either needed to stay inside-not why we came to Hawaii or go to Kona. There are no real beaches in the area we spent alot of time driving back and forth to Kona.

3 Bedroom condo was very nice.
3 Bedroom condo was very nice. Comfortable beds and kitchen fully stocked. location great. Nice lunch (and breakfast) spot nearby at Johny's restaurant at Golf Pro Shop. Wish we could have golfed. Excellent pool and workout area per my friends. Tennis courts strange matt surface. Hard to see #s on other condos at night to find location of our friends who were also staying there. But overall, a great facility and will be back!

Waikoloa is a great affordable luxury resort development.
Waikoloa is a great affordable luxury resort development. It is the kind of place where you can take walks and enjoy the beautiful landscaping or for dining and shopping. Many excellent tour companies (Kailani Tours) do pick-ups here and Waikoloa is well situated for exploring all parts of the island.

The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are lovely.
The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are lovely. However, the food was mediocre at best, very overpriced and not fresh. The staff were not overly helpful or friendly. I would be hesitant to recommend this resort to friends and family.

We were a family of 5 and this was great!
We were a family of 5 and this was great! It gave us plenty of space and we were able to relax in the room and grill and cook a few meals in. There is shopping, restaurants, a movie theater, and a BIG ABC store that has everything you could want - groceries, take out, souvenirs, etc all right across the street within walking distance. Its only about 20 min from the airport but has lots of open space and a very quiet feel to everything. Its a very short drive to several beaches and only about an hour or so to anything else on the Island. We were on 3rd floor and elevator is small and very slow but is helpful with luggage. The garage had lots of beach gear available for use. Small but nice swimming pool just a few buildings down with beautiful landscaping around it and a shaded patio if you are hanging out and watching kids swim.

The Mauna Lani Beach Club is a wonderful beach and it was a huge plus to have access to the cabanas and furniture based on the fact the unit had a membership there. We enjoyed the fact that the unit was close to restaurants (Tommy Bahama) and groceries (Foodland).
Morning walks around Mauna Lani are wonderful and easy access over to the beach is convenient. It's also simple to travel over to Waikoloa for even more shopping and restaurants. The Lava Lava Beach club has great food and is right on the water where we got to see a Monk Seal swim in the bay.
Also, I would recommend exploring the full Big Island. There are wonderful national parks and you can see so much and so many different climates and landscapes. It is truly unique compared to the other islands.
We were able to see whales each day when we drove north up Kohala.
All in all a wonderful trip for our 10th visit to the islands.
Loved the openness of the resort and the outdoor dining. Food was excellent. Vacationers were constantly coming and going, but the resort never felt crowded. Housekeeping was spot on and always made sure we had plenty of coffee and towels. Location was perfect, very close to shopping, black sand beach, helicopter tours, etc...
It was a real town house much better than expected, clean, cozy and well organized.
I think it'll be the best place to stay in Hawaii for the price.(I know the accommodations because I've stayed before Paniolo Greens and after it too now I'm staying in another island)
I appreciate and cherish the good memories there.
Thank you,
The property was gorgeous but the restaurants and amenities were extremely expensive. Guests who come to the property without a car are forced to pay exorbitant prices after paying hotel fees and other costs to stay at this very beautiful property. Regular middle class people cannot afford a vacation at this beautiful place.
This is a really nice place. Spacious, good beds, quiet clean, well designed, well equipped. Well designed for two couples in the two bedroom suites. Large, onsite KTA grocery store is huge and has wide variety of foods, cooked and uncooked. May be the best value on the island. Very happy with our visit.
The villa was beautifully furnished, spacious, comfortable, and equipped with many supplies for our stay. It had a lot of things (beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, etc.) we needed for the beach. It’s location in Waikoloa made it very easy to get to places we went.
the location and the landscaping are wonderful. the swimming pools are excellent. I like its proximity to the lava lava beach club. we were disappointed yes that there were no water sports equipment for rent in the afternoon.
What I liked best was the extras that we couldn't provide. Such as the extra beach towels, pool toys, fans, and starter supplies. I thought it was super thoughtful. Also that it was easy to get in and out of the complex.
We liked that the property was conveniently located in Waikoloa Beach Village. The local gourmet market has a lot of food choices for lunch at the beach dinner, etc. and it is very convenient to rent beach equipment.
Location: northwestern part of Waikola beach complex and walking distance to the Hilton Waikoloa where I had a meeting
Condos were fairly spacious.
Fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill
Very comfortable and clean condo with nice on site amenities (pool, hot tub, grill, gym). The Waikoloa neighborhood also has access to the beach as well as shopping centers and restaurants.
Beautiful resort, beautiful weather and nature, onsite cultural experts, friendly service, quiet and comfortable rooms, an attention to authentic Hawaiian culture, and more.
The hotel & grounds were beautiful. The meals were amazing. Being situated along the ocean, we had a perfect view of the setting sun each night. Outstanding!
